SUTANUTIR SAKHYA is inviting application for Program Associate (Counseling Line Manager) from interested male/female candidates.

Location: Madhyamgram, North 24 Parganas.

We look forward to receive application for the position of Program Associate (Counseling Line Manager) with an interest, knowledge and experience on the issue of gender based violence, gender justice, to organize and empower adolescents through curriculum based training sessions on gender, sexuality, Child and Human Rights.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilit

•Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English, Hindi and Bengali language.

•Excellent written and communication skills to write reports and computer knowledge.

•Patient with the process of social change and a good team worker.

•Well organized with good time management abilities.

•Ability to multi task and manage different individuals, team and organizational requirements.

•Good leadership skills.

•Willingness to commit for a minimum period of two years with the organization.

Education and Experience

•Master of social work or Post graduation (preferably in related subjects such as social work, gender studies, social sciences etc.).

•Minimum two years of full time work experience in related fields.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Day to day management of the counseling centre including filing and maintenance of documents of each of the calls made on the ‘Counseling phone number’.

2. Coordinate with Legal and mental health counselors to provide support to beneficiaries accessing support of the counseling centre.

3. Support in organizing trainings for the adolescents across the duration.

4. Support adolescent girls to clarify their concerns, talk about aspirations, capacity building on issues like gender, patriarchy, gender-based discrimination and violence, early and child. marriages, laws for women, Reproductive and Sexual health etc.

5. To work closely with the team to implement the projects plans.

6. Conceptualize, develop content, coordinate and conduct trainings for stake

holders group.

Remuneration will be in keeping with the experience, capacities of the applicant.
