Founded in 2008, ARMMAN’s mission is to enable healthy pregnancy, safe delivery and safe childhood for women and children in India. ARMMAN leverages mHealth to create cost-effective and scalable systemic solutions to improve access of pregnant women and mothers to preventive information and services and train health workers to reduce maternal and child mortality and morbidity.

• Our programs have reached over 40 million women and over 3 lakh health workers across 20+ states to date

• ARMMAN has received several awards and honours including the Skoll Award for Social Entrepreneurship 2020 and MIT Elevate Prize 2021, as well as grants from Co-Impact, Google.org, USAID, and others.

Role Overview

IHRPTM program has expanded to the state of UP. Initially as a pilot the program will be implemented in two districts viz Sravasthi and Sambhal. All the components of IHRPTM viz training, LMS and tracking system in addition to research will be implemented. The program is in partnership with UNICEF and the state government. We are looking for someone who is excellent at building and managing partnerships, managing stakeholders, program management and has a broader understanding of maternal and child health in the state of UP. Experience of working at state level with government & multilateral agencies is a must.

Roles and Responsibilities

•Advocate with state Principal secretary, NHM, DH and UNICEF leadership to ensure project plan implementation

•Submit periodic updates and reports about the program progress

•Maintain cordial relationship with the respective heads with a view to smooth

implementation, trouble anticipation and its mitigation.

•Develop and iterate the program implementation plan for the state

•Work closely with the diverse IHRPTM HO team for all program needs

•Maintain a track of the program deliverables and bring attention to the program director any anticipated changes.

•Ensure program implementation as per plan and develop new ways of implementation with program experience.

•Maintain oversight and due diligence over budgets.

•Maintain forecasting as the program evolves and inform IHRPTM HO team.

Qualification & Skills

• Experience of at least 10 years in development field with the last 5 years in progressive responsible positions is a must.

• MBBS + MD /MS /DNB is ideal or MBBS + MPH + MBA or MBBS + MPH, OR least preferred master’s in public health and MBA.

• Should have experience of financial management, planning risk forecasting & mitigation

• Should have experience in handling Ex advocacy, partnerships, multilateral and complex partners.
