Partners in Prosperity (PnP), established in 1998, is registered as a non-profit under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, Delhi. We function from our central office in New Delhi and camp offices in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh. Our projects on soil, water, forests, fisheries, solar, biogas, animal husbandry, satellite monitoring, and community resilience are helping our donors and clients implement their CSR mandate and complement the government's policies and UN SDGs.

The Role:

This New Delhi-based on-site role seeks an experienced Proposal Writer and Documentation Analyst, pivotal in achieving sustainability goals and combating climate change through innovative solutions, including managing timelines, assisting in carbon finance project registrations, and ensuring compliance. The position reports to our Director Buisness Development & Expansion. 

Description of Responsibilities: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Proposal Writer and Documentation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Overseeing the objectives of carbon reduction projects and ensuring their successful implementation from inception to registrations.

Liaising with Carbon consultants and providing the necessary documentation for registering projects with certification bodies such as Gold Standard and Verra.

Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in line with predefined specifications.

Monitoring project progress, tracking milestones, and identifying potential risks. Implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Supporting the Head of Business Development in preparing compelling investor pitch decks to secure funding for carbon projects, presenting financial viability and potential impacts 

Effectively communicating project objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and promoting consensus-building.

Ensuring strict adherence to relevant regulations, standards, and certifications governing carbon reduction projects.

Preparing comprehensive and accurate reports detailing project progress, achievements, and compliance status, providing clear insights to relevant stakeholders.

Collaborating with the Head of Business Development for financial analysis, ROI calculations, and financial modelling related to carbon projects.

Proactively identifying potential funding sources, grants, incentives, and strategic partnerships and informing management as per the organization's competencies.

Staying abreast of the latest developments in carbon finance projects and industry trends.

Identifying opportunities to enhance project development, management, and reporting processes.

Content writing and proactively updating social media platforms to create awareness about PnP's work.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Economics, or other relevant areas.

One to two years of experience in proposal writing, project management, or related fields, preferably in carbon reduction projects or environmental sustainability.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct financial analysis, ROI calculations, and financial modelling.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Commitment to staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in carbon finance projects.

Willingness to learn and grow professionally, with a proactive attitude towards continuous improvement.

Openness to travel and relocation as needed.
