SHAPE INDIA (Social and Humanitarian Action for Promoting Education in India) is a registered, secular, non-profit National Level Organization working in the field of HIV/AIDS, Education, Health, Women Empowerment, Research and Evaluation. The organization was initiated in 2001 by a group of professional social work practitioners. SHAPE India is leading voluntary organization reaching out to more than 50,000 beneficiaries including children, women, senior citizen and weaker sections of the society. Presently we are working in 6 states i.e. Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh U.T., Punjab, U.P and Maharashtra. SHAPE INDIA is also notified under all relevant sections of the Income Tax Act including FCRA.

We work towards a holistic approach for the betterment of the marginalised section of our society. Till now we have implemented more than a dozen projects in partnership with Centre and State governments focused on

• Child health development and education

• Youth Development and livelihood promotion through vocational education

• HIV/AIDS awareness amongst the weaker section of the society

• Women Empowerment and Promoting gender equality

We have an urgent requirement of a M & E cum Accountant post under SHAPE India Targeted Intervention Project at Chembur Mumbai

POST – M & E cum Accountant

Candidate Profile

Bachelor in Commerce, Mathematics, Economics, Statics and Commerce /Computer Application with at least 2 year experience which includes in managing data, data entry, creating analysis sheets from excel, preparing power point presentations. . Monitoring and evaluations tools, data quality checks, analysis and interpretation of data on program performance. Details of working experiences are given below: -

• Proven experience in MS Office and Tally

• 1+ years of accounting/finance experience (preferably in non-profit sector)

• Ability to meet assigned deadlines

• Ability to work under pressures and flexible work timings

• Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives

• Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications

• Entrepreneurial spirit and initiative

• Proven experience in MS Office and Tally

• Knowledge and experience in health and social development sector will be an added advantage

• Familiarity with government health policies and programmes

• Strong communication skills

Role & Responsibilities

• Timely collection of various reports from the field level staffs, financial documents analyze them and prepare monthly report indicating progress, gaps etc.

• Ensure timely submission of reports to MDACS/TSU/DAPCU or any other agency

• Ensure procurement process is followed as per directions of MDACS

• Ensure all financial norms, financial documents are maintained as per norms

• Ensure orientation of staffs about different reports, financial transaction The Monitoring and Evaluation cum for managing all program, physical and financial data

• Under the direct supervision of Project Manager of TI , the M&E Cum Accountant will be responsible for performing the following functions:-

A- Monitoring Quality Assurance

Computerization of outreach, clinical and project level data on daily basis.

b)Conduct continuous analysis of data and provide analytical report for weekly and monthly reviews

Individual tracking of HRG for project services

Identify potential problems in reported data to improve the quality data.

Conduct field visits for ensuring data quality and handholding of outreach team on MIS formats

f Liaise with PSACS and TSU/SETU team for program performance reporting

g) Preparation of SOEs and submit to PM and PD

B- Reporting:

a) Report to PM of the project.

b) Timely submission of monthly program performance data in SIMS/IVIITR/SOCH or other reporting format.

c) Preparation and submission of SOEs. Provide data information required for preparation of reports.

d) Compile field level information for operational reports when required by PSACS.

e) Assist in preparation, writing and editing of all reports required by PSACS or TI project- for example specific Annual Report, Field Study Reports, Event reports etc.

f) M&E to travel to the project areas and hotspots for purpose of related work of the TI project

Salary - Rs 16000/ PM + 600 TA (for field visit)
