Kamalnayan Jamnalal Bajaj Foundation is non-Government organization founded by Bajaj family to commemorate the great work of Shri. Jamnalalji Bajaj. We are engaged in various need based rural developmental programmes like Water Resource Development and Management, Sustainable Agriculture (natural farming), Renewable Energy, Village Institutions, strengthening village institutions, Women empowerment etc. in Wardha district of Maharashtra.

Qualifications and Competencies:
B.Com / M.Com / CA (Intermediate) / ICWA with prior work experience of minimum 15 years in a small / mid-sized organization
Professional certification as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an advantage.
Proficiency in basic concepts of accounting and book-keeping.
Attention to details for review of Statutory records, Policy documents, audited financial statements, Reports from grantee organisations.
Ability to identify and triangulate information for budget validation.
Good verbal, written and analytical skills
Ability to review / process simultaneously vis-à-vis sequence / complete one task within stipulated time.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strengthening the accounting systems with higher slandered of reporting system
Manage and monitor financial and administrative operations of Bajaj Foundation and other related programs implemented through KJBF
Prepare annual budgets and periodic budget forecasts and expenditure estimates of Bajaj Foundation and programs
Coordinate with various Bajaj Foundation programmes teams for day-to-day financial matters
basic financial analysis, validation, and review of proposed programme budget.
Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures and regulations
Review of actual fund utilization and its reporting
Supervise the entire procurement process in compliance with procurement guidelines
Analyze monthly financial statements (balance sheet, revenue statement and cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to the programme person, Regional Programme Manager, President CSR and trustees.
Strengthen and sustain linkages with the stakeholders, including banks, vendors, suppliers, service providers etc.
Periodically update workflow at the grant (uploading documents reviewed, information analysed etc.)
Manage and monitor recoveries/revenues account (utility cost, farm recoveries, farm produce sell-off, vehicle recoveries)
Support working / updating / revising the guiding documents on various internal processes for instance, validation of grant budget proposal, fund disbursement on approval of grant and during the grant term
Manage procurement, supplies and services agreements
Respond to inquiries related to finance and accounting, budgets, payment disbursement, project expenditure, grant reporting etc.
Support consolidation of information across various projects periodic analysis, internal MIS of approved grants within / across portfolio’s as relevant.
Field level validation of the bills and physical activities
Skills:
Knowledge of financial rules, regulations and good practices.
Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in performing responsibilities.
Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
Computer literacy including MS Office applications such as Word, Excel etc.
Work experience using SAP module is an advantage.
Mandatory
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Good knowledge of taxation and labor laws
Proficiency in MS Office, excel and financial systems
Knowledge of financial software
Excellent analytical and computational skills
Strong oral and written communication
Salary: As per previous salary and work experience in the relevant field
