Job Title: Livelihood Specialist / Communication Specialist / Gender Specialist

Location: Himachal Pradesh, India

Salary: Rs. 40,000 per month (Negotiable)

Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s in Social Science / Communication / Journalism

• Post Graduate degree in Social Science

Experience Required:

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in community mobilization practices.

• Extensive experience in the design and implementation of baseline surveys.

• Proven experience in Behaviour Change Communication, particularly in the sectors of water and sanitation (WASH), rural development, and women empowerment.

Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Livelihood Specialist, Communication Specialist, or Gender Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of community mobilization practices and a strong background in designing and implementing baseline surveys. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving behaviour change communication strategies in rural development, WASH initiatives, and women empowerment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead community mobilization efforts in targeted areas.

• Design and implement comprehensive baseline surveys.

• Develop and execute behaviour change communication strategies.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote water and sanitation (WASH) practices.

• Support initiatives aimed at rural development and women empowerment.
