Job Title: Career Counselor

Location: Bhubaneswar

Programme: Pankh

Salary: 25,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Career Counselor to join our Pankh programme team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in career counseling and be passionate about empowering young minds to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personalized career guidance and counseling to students/youth

- Conduct assessments and identify individual strengths, interests, and skills

- Develop and implement career development plans

- Facilitate workshops and group sessions on career awareness, skill development, and job readiness

- Build relationships with educational institutions, industry partners, and stakeholders

- Stay updated on industry trends and job market demands

- Meet program targets and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in career counseling

- Postgraduate degree in Psychology, Education, or related field

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills

- Ability to work with diverse groups and age ranges

- Strong knowledge of career development theories and practices

- Familiarity with industry trends and job market demands

Desirable Qualities:

- Experience working with youth or in education sector

- Certification in career counseling or related field

- Proficiency in Odia language (in addition to English)
