Position: Finance Associate – Program and Finance Associate – Admin
(two positions)
Key Responsibilities:
• Fund Flow Management: Ensure that the fund flow management system is effectively prepared and followed for all projects supported and implemented by Caritas India.
• Capacity Building: Contribute to the enhancement of finance management capacities among field staff through training and support.
• Audit Coordination: Receive audited statements, gather feedback, and follow up by supporting and coordinating with field finance personnel.
• Project Control Ledger: Maintain and update the Project Control Ledger in TALLY to ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Grant Management: Oversee grant management and reporting for assigned funded projects, ensuring compliance and timely updates.
• Financial Monitoring: Conduct financial monitoring and accounting for national projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Specialized Financial Expertise: Possess a specialized qualification and in-depth knowledge in finance management and accounting.
• Auditing Standards: Current and thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
• Training and Development: Proven skills and experience in training and developing staff in financial management.
• Knowledge of Caritas Network: Familiarity with the Caritas network, its partners, and key focus areas.
• Legal Compliance: Comprehensive understanding of legal compliance requirements related to NGOs.
• Exposure to Training: Experience with national and international training workshops on financial management.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Tally software, with a willingness to undergo additional training if required.
