About LLF
Language and Learning Foundation (www.languageandlearningfoundation.org ) is a New Delhi-based non-profit organization with the vision of enhancing equitable student learning, especially language and literacy development, through the professional development of teachers and teacher educators, building/sharing knowledge, and implementing projects in collaboration with state governments. LLF currently works with 7 state governments across the country.

Position Description
The Manager, Strategy and Learning, will directly collaborate with the Executive Director, engaging strategically across all teams within LLF. This role involves designing strategies and roadmaps for projects, managing organizational priorities, and supporting business development efforts. The position offers exposure to founders, board members, and key stakeholders, making it ideal for individuals who thrive in intellectually stimulating and fast-paced environments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Organization Development:
Collaborate with the Founder and Senior Leadership on developing LLF's strategic framework and operational plans.
Manage critical organizational processes, including strategic reviews, board meetings, and external engagements.
Support the Founder by researching and synthesizing relevant findings to shape LLF's initiatives and verticals.
Address key strategic questions and assist senior leadership in developing LLF's focus areas.
Foster cross-collaboration and integration between different verticals to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Provide strategic inputs and operational support for high-profile projects.
Business Development:
Assist the Fundraising (FR) team in developing business plans, expanding into new geographies, and coordinating with state program teams.
Collaborate with program teams to develop proposals, engage with state agencies, and coordinate fundraising efforts with donors.
Support fundraising initiatives, including strategic planning with LLF US Charity and reporting to major donors.
Educational Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Education:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related fields.
Skills:
Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational objectives.
Project Management: Proficient in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Business Development: Skilled in identifying opportunities, building partnerships, and securing funding.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex ideas effectively.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership ability, capable of motivating teams towards common goals.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to derive insights and make data-driven decisions.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent relationship-building skills, collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Adaptability: Flexible and proactive in responding to changing priorities and environments.
Experience:
3-5 years in strategy development, project management, business development, or consulting roles.
Proven track record in driving strategic initiatives, preferably within education or non-profit sectors.
Experience engaging with senior management, board members, and diverse teams.
Successful history of developing and executing business plans, managing key processes, and contributing to impactful projects.
Knowledge of fundraising, including proposal development, donor engagement, and reporting, is advantageous.
