Job Description

IDENTIFYING AND ONBOARDING NEW DONORS:

• Create and implement a fundraising strategy in consultation with the leader for the organization focusing on long term sustainability

• Understand the objectives of the organization and create fundraising budget in consultation with the leader/ board

• Research and compile the list of various International and National Donor Organizations – (Corporate CSR, Funding Agencies, Government etc) and identify prospects that are aligned to the organization's domain area

• Establish contact and build relationships with Donors/ Prospects. Regularly monitor donor websites and identify and apply for opportunities that match the work of the organization

• Organize Campaigns/Events in order to solicit and onboard new donors

• Presentation of the organization and its programs to prospective donors and diligent follow up to ensure conversion

• Work with the program team and the leader to create budgets for various programs

• Prepare and submit Grant Proposals to donors, ensure timely resolution of donor queries and facilitate onboarding of donors through effective coordination with various teams within the organization

Qualification : MSW/ MARD/ PGDRD /MBA( Rural Management), Master degree in Sociology
