About The PRIDE India: The PRIDE India is a non-governmental organization committed to bringing a sustainable change in the marginalized communities living in rural and urban poverty by helping them lead lives filled with dignity and self-respect. We work across various thematic areas including Health Care and Sanitation, Child Centric Development, Ideal Village, Livelihood Development, Women Empowerment, Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation.
Role Overview: The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of all programs and projects under The PRIDE India. The role involves coordinating with multiple stakeholders to ensure that all projects align with the organization’s mission, strategic goals, and thematic focus areas. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing teams, ensuring effective resource allocation, and achieving the desired impact across all initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Implementation:
• Lead the development of comprehensive program plans, including setting objectives, defining deliverables, and establishing timelines.
• Ensure that all projects are aligned with The PRIDE India's strategic goals and thematic focus areas.
• Coordinate with program teams to ensure smooth execution of all activities, addressing any challenges that arise.
• Oversee the implementation of projects across different locations, ensuring that they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks to assess the impact of all programs.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress and provide on-site guidance.
• Analyze data from M&E activities to identify areas for improvement and ensure that projects are achieving their intended outcomes.
• Prepare detailed reports on program performance for internal and external stakeholders, including donors.
Resource Management:
• Manage program budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and within budget constraints.
• Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of resources and materials for project activities.
• Work closely with the finance team to monitor expenditure and ensure compliance with donor requirements.
• Work closely with the Resource Mobilization team to secure funding for existing and new projects
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Act as the primary point of contact for program-related communication with internal teams, external partners, government agencies, and donors.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support for The PRIDE India's initiatives.
• Represent The PRIDE India at meetings, conferences, and other forums related to program areas.
• Lead the development of high-quality project proposals for donors and stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Capacity Building:
• Lead and mentor program teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Identify training needs and opportunities for capacity building among program staff.
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure alignment and address any operational challenges.
Advocacy and Communication:
• Work with the communications team to document success stories, lessons learned, and best practices from programs.
• Support advocacy initiatives by providing data and insights from programs that align with The PRIDE India's advocacy goals.
• Contribute to the development of communication materials such as brochures, newsletters, and presentations.
• Write concept notes for new initiatives and innovative interventions in line with organizational objectives.
• Ensure all proposals align with donor requirements and organizational strategies.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
• Work with the Finance team to develop and manage project budgets.
• Track financial performance and ensure projects remain within budget.
• Report any budget variances and make recommendations for financial adjustments.
Other Duties:
• Undertake additional duties as directed by the Reporting Manager, ensuring alignment with the organizational objectives and vision, thereby contributing to the overall mission of the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Health, Non-profit Management or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program management within the non-profit sector, preferably with experience in rural and urban development projects.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and reports.
• Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and inspire donors.
• Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation techniques and MS Office.
• Financial acumen, with experience in budget management and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Starting with the establishment of Maharashtras first successful Women & Credit Society, the organization expanded its reach to address diverse issues including Early Childhood Care and Development interventions, a residential home for tribal Katkari children (Jeevanshala), and the SPARSH health venture in Sastur after the Latur Earthquake. The organization played a crucial role in the Rajiv Gandhi Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Scheme,earning recognition for its efforts.
In the wake of Ms. Vipula Kadri;s passing in 2007, the Kadri family continued the legacy, with Ms. Isha Kadri (now Isha Mehra) guiding the organization. The holistic village development project, & Shashwat Gram, encompassed health, sanitation, livelihood, education, and community participation. In 2020, PRIDE India responded to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic by collaborating with the Navi-Mumbai Municipal Corporation. They established state-of-the-art infrastructure for Mother and Child Health, recognizing the need for a multi-disciplinary approach.
