Location: Maharashtra: Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik,Haryana: Bhiwani

Employment Type: 5 months contract to be renewed on mutual agreement.

Reports To: Program Manager

Salary: upto Rs 3Lakhs per annum depending upon experience and competency level

Job Overview: The Financal and Digital Literacy Trainer will design and deliver customized training programs to enhance the financial and digital literacy of diverse demographic groups. The trainer will focus on promoting prudent financial habits, digital security, and awareness of government schemes among nano, micro, and small enterprises, as well as individuals from low-income communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Tailored Digital Literacy Programs:

· Implement digital literacy programs tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of different demographic groups.

· Adapt training materials to suit the learning styles and literacy levels of the target audience.

Promote Financial Well-being:

· Educate individuals, entrepreneurs, informal sector workers, and other marginalized groups on prudent financial habits.

· Topics include financial planning, savings and insurance products, responsible borrowing, debt management, and improving credit scores.

· Raise awareness about the risks of Ponzi schemes and unregistered investment advisors.

· Assist participants in setting and achieving short-term and long-term financial goals.

Cybersecurity Awareness:

· Deliver training on cybersecurity risks and secure digital financial practices.

· Topics include strong passwords, two-factor authentication, securing personal information, safe online shopping, and protection against cyber fraud.

hemes Awareness:

· Increase awareness and uptake of government schemes like Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY), Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, and others.

· Promote the adoption of Digi Locker and guide participants through the process.

· Promote the onboarding of MSMEs on the ONDC platform.

Digital Financial Servics Training:

· Educate participants on using digital financial services such as Digi Locker, digital banking, online payments, and mobile wallets.

· Provide hands-on training on navigating online banking accounts, understanding account statements, and performing fund transfers and bill payments.

Mobile Wallets and Payment Apps:

· Train participants on using mobile wallet platforms and UPI for safe and efficient transactions.

· Explain the benefits and risks associated with these digital payment methods.

Social Security Schemes:

· Encourage the adoption of social security schemes like Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Sukanya Samriddhi, and others.

· Offer guidance and support to participants in enrolling and benefiting from these schemes.

Target Groups:

· Nano, micro, and small enterprises (e.g., street vendors, shopkeepers, retailers)

· Self-employed entrepreneurs from low-income communities

· Gig workers (e.g., drivers, fleet owners, driver-cum-owners)

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Education, or a related field.

· 1-3 years proven experience in financial training, digital literacy education, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of financial planning, savings, insurance, borrowing, and debt management.

· Knowledge of digital financial services, online banking, mobile wallets, and digital security.

· Familiarity with government social security schemes and their application processes.

Skills:

· Excellent communication and presentation skills.

· Ability to simplify complex financial and digital concepts for diverse audiences.

· Proficiency in using training tools and technologies.

· Strong organizational and time-management skills.

· Empathy and cultural sensitivity to work with marginalized groups.
