Position: Community Mobilizer

Location: Maharashtra: Pune, Aurangabad, Nashik Haryana: Bhiwani

Employment Type: 5 months contract to be renewed on mutual agreement.

Reports To: Program Manager

Salary: upto Rs 3 Lakhs per annum depending upon experience and competency level

Synergie is looking for Community Mobilizers, who would be responsible for grass root implementation of projects

Responsibilities:

• Grassroot implementation of projects as per the identified themes.

• Handling team

• Managing stakeholders including government departments, industry and media

• Undertaking advocacy of various social issues in a collaborative manner with stakeholders

• Preparing concept notes

• Design case studies and testimonials to help amplify the impact of the projects on various social media handles

• Organise various activities such as forming steering groups, organising campaign days, conferences and workshops.

• Strong documentation and reporting as per the need of the programs.

Esential Skills:

• Resourcefulness

• Ability to take stakeholder meetings

• Ability to manage complex and varied work load

• Open to travel and strong field presence

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English

• Conversant with MS office and good powerpoint skills.

Qualifications:

• At least 1-3 years of experience in social sector.

• Demonstrated success in implementing grass root projects.

• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to and passion for Synergie's mission
