Project Implementation areas : Hyderabad and Medchal-Malkaljgiri Districts
Reporting to: State Project Lead
Grade: C
Travel: 70% in the field
Level Of Contact With Children: 2 (Sporadic or occasional contact with children)
The position holder shall be responsible to adhere & work within the ambit of Plan India’s Safe Guarding of Children and Young People Policy & Gender Equality Policies.

SUMMARY OF THE OVERALL JOB:
This position is responsible for the implementation of Project CCCD Bal which includes the implementation of project activities as per guidance of Project Lead, rolling out filed level activities, networking and linkages with key stakeholders, government departments and PRIs/ward at local level, timely utilisation of funds, achievement of project outputs and outcomes within the timelines defined in the project plan and submission of timely reports of the activities and monthly progress updates to project manager.
KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The job holder will be responsible for implementation of project under various thematic areas in the Child Centered Community Development Project in close coordination with Project Lead
• Implementation of project activities such as awareness/orientation/training of parents, school teachers, child cabinet members and other stakeholders in target locations
• Facilitate program implementation team meeting.
• Identification of beneficiaries.
• Support frontline staff in implementation of activities and training/handholding.
• Liaising and linkages with various stakeholders and duty bearers.
• Create and update database of schemes/services of the government in education theme
• Information dissemination session with the families in the communities on awareness generation on government schemes/services
• Facilitate application process of eligible/interested individuals/families for availing the government schemes/services
• Attend convergence meetings organized by government department
• Ensure timely utilisation of funds as per defined project timelines.
• Maintain and update MIS/project tracker
• Preparation and submission of activity, project and various other reports as per stipulated timelines
• Provide any other support required by the line manager and as per the requirements of the organisation
• Documentation of case studies and best practices.
• Support State Project Lead in developing new proposals/ new concepts.
• Support State Project Lead in preparation of various project reports and documents
• Adherence to all Plan India’s Policies during program implementation.
• Any other work as assigned by State Project Lead.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Any Graduate/Post Graduate in Development Management will be preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience of working in development projects
• Proficient in local language and willingness to travel
• Experience in usage of computer/tablets for data collection and basic report preparation
• Passionate to work with children, protecting Child Rights.
