Invites Applications for “Project Field Coordinator” for PEARY Project (Promoting Entrepreneurs among Rural Youth) in Gujarat

Objective of the Project: NSFI (National Skills Foundation India) is actively spearheading Project, a transformation initiative, that receives support from a Strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund. Project Aims to collaborate with Government machinery, work with its cadre and train them to be mentors for rural entrepreneurs and become agents of change; to build business orientation skills and mentorship skills of change agents for continued support to Rural Entrepreneurs; to support Rural Entrepreneurs in their journey, from enterprise incubation, business acceleration to business sustainability.

Vacancy Details:

Designation: Field Project Coordinator – (1 Person), Full Time

• Location: Anand (Gujarat) at the Project Implementation Field Office

• Reporting to: Manager Operations

• Type of opening: Project Based - Duration October 2024 to March, 2027

• Salary offered: Rs.35K Commensurate with Experience and comparable to industry standards. Exclusive of TA/DA.

a) Qualification/Experience & qualities:

• Graduate from Social Development studies/any stream, Mass communication will be advantage.

• 2-3 years’ experience in development reports and collaboration documents development.

• Excellent computer application knowledge, XL expertise

• Conversant in writing and speaking in Gujarati, Hindi & English

• Must have a two-wheeler & Licence to drive it (will be given preference).

• The Candidate is willing to travel to Identified villages minimum 15 days in a Month

• Excellent in Soft Skills, Innovative thinker, smart decision maker

• Highly motivated, strategist, challenge lover

• Extrovert, forward looking and a Go-getter

b) Job Responsibilities (Indicative) :

• Lead and supervise Assistant Field Coordinators and Community Team members in diverse project activities, regularly and reviewing their work.

• Proactively conduct field visits to ensure project progress and effectiveness.

• Coordinate and arrange all project-related activities, such as training, meetings, and workshops, as advised by the Manager, Operations.

• Identify and recruit Project Staff whenever the need arises.

• Ensure timely settlement of all program activities with NSFI Head Office.

• Gather necessary information and data requested by NSFI to facilitate decision-making processes.

• Foster collaboration with PRI, line departments, and other non-government organizations at the District / State Level.

• Participate in stakeholder meetings to facilitate project implementation through strategic partnerships with various organizations and agencies.

• Facilitate Technical Training for Potential Entrepreneurs

• Cultivate positive relationships with communities to drive economic and social transformation.

• Coordinate and support documentation efforts, including case studies, best practice learning notes, handouts, photography, and short films.

• Timely submission of reports to the Project Manager.

• Procure goods and services for project activities in alignment with guidance from the Project Manager.

• Ensure punctual submission of attendance records for Field Staff, travel expenses, and other reimbursement claims.

• Establish governance and accountability mechanisms for community institutions.

• Assist the team in preparing for donor field visits by providing background documentation.

• Undertake any other tasks assigned by competent authorities, such as Project Manager, Project Director, or Partner organizations.
