About This Role
Field Coordinator will be responsible for the implementation of field level activities of our Child Development Program (Subsidy) in Kendrapada district of Odisha . The Field Coordinator will implement planned project activities within the approved budget and timelines with the guidance from the Senior Field Officer and share its updates with her/his supervisor on regular basis.
Required Experience and Education
Post graduate degree in Social Work / Rural Development.
At least 5 years of experience in NGO sector, of which minimum of 2 years’ experience of implementing community level activities with supervision from the line manager.
Strong experience in leading community level implementation and establishing rapport with the local community leaders, PRI members, etc.
Knowledge of participatory community development approaches.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written) in Hindi, English and regional language, Odiya.
Good computer skills, with familiarity in using Microsoft Office suite applications.
Willingness to travel to remote villages and communities
Be gender sensitive with strong conviction and skills for the empowerment of excluded and disadvantaged children.
Previous experience of designing and implementing Child Protection , Health, Education and/or Livelihoods projects would be an asset.
Primary Responsibilities
Lead implementation of program deliverables in the assigned villages/location.
Be responsible for coordinating all activities relating to children, farmers, women, youth and adolescent groups at the field level in assigned location/s.
Be responsible for collecting and managing field level data of program activities, support the monitoring and evaluation processes, support reviews and statistical analysis in the assigned location/s.
Support team in planning, coordinating, and tracking progress against agreed indicators.
Supervise and provide support to Community Animators / Facilitators in delivering their assigned deliverables.
Ensure application of child friendly tools during consultations and program monitoring.
Support in networking with relevant government bodies and local organizations, Youth Clubs, community leaders, gender inclusive learning spaces, community-based forums, etc.
Ensure quality documentation and reporting of the project activities and outcomes.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
