ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

AyurGyan Nyas is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2014 with the blessings of His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama. The organisation is dedicated to Promote social, emotional learning(SEL) and ethics education. AGN has developed a curriculum integrating the foundations of SEL with Ethical and moral values. We provide customised, activity-based curricula and workshops, especially designed and contextualised for the Indian subcontinent, serving schools, higher educational institutions, Marginalised communities and professional spaces. Our aim is to provide individuals with the tools and opportunity to become socially, emotionally and ethically aware, empowering them to grow into conscientious individuals.

We are looking for professionals who are ready to deal with ambiguity and have a positive attitude towards problem solving in the education sector, professional & community spaces.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Able to ideate & create and design content for an online/offline audience · Excellent at taking a concept and creating activities that can be transacted offline and online.

-Organisational Development - Strategy, Verticals and Processes of AGN.

-Knowledge of the education sector and related issues, debates and contemporary campaigns in India.

-Ensuring effective project implementation

-Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for designing, developing and executing processes.

-Preparing and delivering reports within the designated timeline and shall incorporate the desired changes as suggested by AGN.

-Development of Monitoring & Evaluation tools for schools and community projects.

-Coordinating with the Project Assistant for data entry and computation as needed.

-Preparation of the proposal and budget for CSR and other funding Institutions.

-Field Visits as per the plan during the project period

-Facilitator Training and Workshops as directed by AGN.

-End to End coordination with all the stakeholders and vendors.

-Any other work/ task assigned by the General Secretary, AGN.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

-A degree in education, psychology or social science is a must. Advanced qualification in education or relevant social sciences is desirable but not necessary.

-Minimum 2 years of work experience in the field of education/child psychology.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING IN A CANDIDATE?

-A person who can bring in innovative and original ideas to the table.

-Familiar with Microsoft office and Google suite

-Good organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills

-Fluent with verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hindi

-A team player with good interpersonal skills capable of consultative processes

-A self-motivated person who can take initiative, with capacity to troubleshoot.

SALARY:

Salary and benefits are comparable to the nonprofit sector; and commensurate with experience and internal equity.
