Position:Research Associates Monitoring & Evaluation in Development Programmes (HSR/Public Health, Agriculture/ Live Stock, Public Policy & Governance, OD/HRD)

Our major areas of work include BCC/ C4D, Public Health, Livelihoods, WASH, Live Stock, Education, Forest & Agriculture, FPOs/ Wadies, Live Stock, Public Policies & Governance,  International Trade & Economics,  Development, Women & Child Development,Nutrition,etc. IIDM has a team of Experts with Degrees from Ivy Leage Universities, IITs & other Internationally known Universities which provides international environment for working. 

Job Responsibilities 

To carry out desk research/ literature review & gathering secondary data for MEAL in development sectors. 

To carry out impact assessment survey in agriculture & livestock development schemes of the Government.  

To carry out formative research/ KAP   for Communication Need Assessment, Design & Development of BCC Tools for C4D Associates  where as  Design & development of research tools for both quantitative & qualitative  research for research associates. 

To hire & train the team of investigators for KAP & other research studies. 

 To supervise data collection & quality assurance of field activities. 

To assist media production team in content/ script writing & help production. 

To carry out HRD/ OD Interventions & Action Research in development sector. 

To provide faculty assistance in capacity building assignments of the organization. 

To carry out any other tasks assigned from time to time by Subject Matter Experts/ ED  of IIDM. 

Eligibility 

PG / M Phil/ Ph.D.in related subjects like Agricultural or Veterinary Sciences/ Social Sciences / Public Health / Stats/ Development  Management / Economics & C4D degrees in Development Communication, BCC/IEC/ Outreach Media design and Development & Other related disciplines 

Computer Skills in Microsoft Office are must & hands on experience on  SPSS/ SAS, Survey CTO will be preferred.  Fluency in Hindi & English is essential requirement. 

At least 2-5 years of experience in Operational / Action Research in development sector or Large country wide surveys/ research will be an added advantage.

The preference will be given to local candidates. 

Remuneration: 

As per education and experience in the subject/ sector. 

Engagement: 

The recruited individuals will be appointed on a probationary basis. After successful completion of the probation period, they may be absorbed by IIDM on regular scale.
