Job purpose
Lady Bamford Charitable Trust (LBCT) is a CSR arm of JCB India Limited. LBCT has been working towards creating a better quality of life for vulnerable communities and provides comprehensive support for certified employable skills and income enhancement.
LBCT seeks to hire Project coordinator at Halol to ensure quality execution of our Education, engagement and employable skills program on the ground.
Duties and responsibilities
Project coordinator-EEE, plays crucial role in conducting and implementing education, employment and engagement programs at location. The project coordinator will be responsible to work in coordination with location and vertical teams.
Key responsibilities are;
• Overall implementation, execution, and monitoring of the projects.
• Plan activities of all projects and monitor progress against the project results framework and the approved annual workplan
• Conduct periodic program reviews to assess outcomes and effectiveness
• Build collaborative partnerships with a variety of stakeholders
• Capture lessons learned during project implementation
• Overall responsible for implementation of the project by working closely with other team members.
• Establish strong network with Government Departments/Functionaries, Elected Representatives, NGOs and likeminded organizations.
• Provide supportive supervision to team
• Closely monitor the field activities and review monthly expenses related to fund utilization.
• Review field activities, data analysis, and assessment of activities (component wise) periodically and provide technical inputs.
• Develop Detailed Implementation Plan and ensure that all activities are carried out as per the plan.
• Preparing required documentation for implementation of the programs
• Any other responsibility related to the project assigned by organization

• Approach to work with the marginalized community without any gender bias
• Should be a team player.
• Ability to guide team members at location
• Demonstrated skills in building, mobilizing, and leading multi-disciplinary teams
• Demonstrates excellent work/project planning skills
• Is open to change and ability to manage complex, ever-changing environments
• Experience in working in education, livelihood and community development projects
• Functional IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, internet)
• Proven effectiveness in driving complex multi-stakeholder planning processes and cross-team projects to desired results.
• Strong expertise in managing relationships, networks, and teams that include a diverse group of people representative of the public and private sectors, community-based organizations, nonprofits, and civic leaders as well as program beneficiaries.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications
Masters (social work/ rural development)
Experience
with 5-7 years of experience of working development sector specially in field of education, employment, livelihood, community development
Languages
• Excellent verbal & written communication in English, Hindi and Gujarati.
Working Timing and days
• Timing: 8.30 am to 5.30 pm
• Working days: Monday to Friday

LBCT was founded in 2000 under the vision and guidance of Lady Bamford to support children and empower nearby communities, especially women, around the JCB factories in India. It started off with initiatives on education in one government school in Ballabgarh, Haryana. Over the last 20 years, the work of the Trust has evolved keeping in mind the needs of the communities it works with.
Working on three broad objectives namely, Education, Employable Skills and community Engagement, LBCT’s interventions are primarily focused on improving the education of children enrolled in government schools; empowering women group through the Self-Help Group (SHG) model and providing skill training to the community with a special focus on women, to promote their economic empowerment. Besides these interventions, LBCT also supports awareness initiatives related to health, nutrition and WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene for All). The Trust works on these initiatives across four states- Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra and continues to engage with communities on their evolving needs and issues, all the while focusing on its three key objectives.
