Jeevika Development Society is a community-based Non-Governmental Organization

(NGO) working since the early 1990s, being registered under the West Bengal Society’s Act in the year 1994, in the district of South 24-Parganas of West Bengal in India, with a mission to promote social and economic justice for women by challenging patriarchal norms while ensuring environmental sustainability.

Name of the post: Field worker

Project Location- South 24 Parganas ( near Joka)

Job Description:

1. Community Mobilization and Reporting.

2. Strengthening the community through effective liaison with local stakeholders, schools, and district-level administration.

3. Regular reporting and sharing of the experiences to the Coordinator.

Desirable Qualification:

1. H.S./Graduation with any discipline.

2. Working knowledge of English, Bengali, and Hindi will be preferred. Excellent reading speaking and writing skills in the local language (Bengali).

3. Good understanding of local language and culture.

4. Ability to work independently and meet timelines.

Remuneration:

8,000/- (based on experience). This includes travel and communication charges.
