Shakti Organisation, a leading NGO working in Kalahandi District of Odisha, requires suitable candidate for its ongoing project ‘Access to Justice to Children’.

No. of Post: 1 (One)

Salary: Rs. 21, 000/- per month

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

• Master in Social Science / BA LLB/Any Graduate from any reputed university with at least 2 years of direct working experience in child protection sector.

• Detailed knowledge about child protection legislations including national and state guidelines

• Thorough understanding about child trafficking, child sexual abuse and child marriage issues

• Thorough understanding of the statutory and legal system of the government in dealing with child protection cases

• Computer skill for necessary programme documentation.

Candidate matching the above criteria of any gender are encouraged to apply.

• Should be able to take up challenges and work at any point of time (day & night)

• Ability to articulate, effectively communicate and negotiate are some of required skills that this position would demand.

• Ready for outstation travel as the case may be with immediate notice and for rescue, repatriation of children and stop child marriage.

• Good writing and analytical skill along with ability to prepare PowerPoint presentations

• Detailed knowledge about digital platform and social media platform

Language proficiency – Odia, English and Hindi

Please note that the applying candidate must have own Two-Wheeler for local travel.
