This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
1. Product Strategy & Vision:
a. Support the creation and implementation of products that ensures continuity of value delivery in alignment with well-defined product development goals.
b. Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes based on business goals, and technical feasibility.
c. Monitor program effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed based on evolving needs.
2. Product Development & Execution:
a. Support in product conception to expand the portfolio of innovative products available in the CoE (Centre of Excellence), while ensuring alignment with higher-order strategic objectives.
b. Employ product management best practices for driving a product-led approach with solutions that address needs of government stakeholders.
3. Stakeholder Management:
a. Build and maintain relationships with local organizations, community leaders, governmental agencies, and advocacy groups.
b. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistency and alignment in efforts.
4. Operational Support:
a. Lead efforts to scale civic engagement products or platforms to accommodate growing user bases and increase access for diverse community groups.
b. Work towards prioritizing scaling initiatives, such as performance optimization, feature expansion, and platform upgrades.
c. Ensure products are designed with a focus on system performance and reliability.
Desirable Qualification & Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Product Management, Public Policy, Computer Science or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus but not required.
2. 10+ years of experience in healthcare product management, with a focus on public sector products, citizen services, or social impact projects.
3. Experience working with government bodies, non-profits, or other public organizations is a plus.
4. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products from inception to launch.
Essential Skills:
1. Strong understanding of product management principles, including roadmap development, feature prioritization, and lifecycle management.
2. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across different sectors, including government agencies, private partners, and community groups.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders.
4. Experience with user-centered design, user research, and developing products with inclusivity in mind.
5. Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements related to public sector and citizen-facing products.
