The organisation broadly focuses on delivering services, building the capacity for sustainable behaviour change practices, advocacies with the public system administrators and service providers. CACR has collaborated with many CSRs like Bharat Petroleum, Metropolis Health, Kotak, SEEDS, Britannia, ONGC etc. over the years and successfully implemented different programs not only within the jurisdiction of Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) but also across adjoining districts. For its sensitive and strong commitment towards empowering the children in the underserved settlements, CACR has been recognised as the urban development partner for WASH, children healthcare sensitisation and implementation programs of UNICEF Maharashtra and TATA Trusts.
Position Overview:
The Program Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of CACR’s programs, ensuring they align with our mission and deliver high-impact results. This role requires strategic thinking, project management skills, and a strong commitment to community development. The Program Manager will work closely with various teams, stakeholders, and partners to drive program success and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Program Planning and Development:
Design and implement programs in alignment with CACR’s mission and strategic goals.
Develop program objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance metrics.
Identify areas of improvement and opportunities for new initiatives.
2. Project Management:
Coordinate program activities, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
Manage resources, including budget allocation, staffing, and material needs.
Regularly monitor program progress and prepare detailed reports.
3.Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of coordinators and volunteers.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to drive team performance.
Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships:
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, community leaders, and partner organizations.
Represent CACR at community events, workshops, and conferences.
Collaborate with partners to maximize resources and program impact.
5.Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting:
Establish and oversee systems for tracking program outcomes and impact.
Analyse program data and feedback to assess effectiveness and make improvements.
Prepare program reports for internal review, donors, and board members
6 Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure all programs comply with legal, regulatory, and CACR standards.
Identify and manage risks associated with program implementation.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in program management, preferably in an NGO or community-based setting.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Knowledge of local regulations and best practices in non-profit program management.
