Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Program Manager to support the planning and implementation of our education initiatives in slums, rural areas and government schools.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program Implementation:

• Developing and executing operational strategies to enhance program delivery, streamline processes, and improve efficiency.

• Managing compliance with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.

• Fostering positive relationships with children and communities, and collaborating with leaders, parents, and stakeholders to ensure community engagement in program activities.

• Planning for community engagement workshops and their implementation.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Responsible for implementation of Monitoring & Evaluating and learning plan.

• Collecting and analysing data to contribute to program assessment and improvement.

• Frequent travel within designated regions and occasional out-of-town trips may be necessary.

3. Reporting and Documentation:

• Preparation of regular reports on program activities, progress, and challenges on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

4. Team Leadership and Management:

• Leading a diverse team of project coordinators, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure high performance and professional development.

• Fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.

Promoting transparency, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Candidates should ideally possess a Master's degree with demonstrated experience 5-10 years in program operations management, preferably within development sectors or education sector.

• Preference will be given to those who have managed large-scale, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Hindi.

• This is a full time offline position based at our head office in Lucknow. The candidate should either be based in Lucknow or willing to relocate.

About Company

Sarthak Foundation started in 2013 when an incident involving little children living in a Lucknow urban slum exposed Kshama, the Founder of Sarthak, to extreme hunger and abject poverty, somethings that are so pervasive and rampant that they have become part of the landscape and we don’t notice them even when they are right in front of us. She thought that imparting education was the only tool capable of bringing sustained changes in the lives of these children so she went with a slate and started teaching the children. What started with 6 children under a tree is today an organized, data centric and well managed non-profit running three long term, deep, immersive and impactful projects impacting more than 8000 children directly and 32,000 people indirectly.
