Job Description

1. To ensure improvement in coverage and uptake of ICDS services in the beat (enrolment of all children, anthropometry, registration of pregnancies, referrals, home visits of ANC, PNC, children, awareness activities, immunization coverage, etc. through a team of 4-5 community health workers (CHWs).

2. To ensure strengthening referrals to eligible beneficiaries for immunization, ANC and PNC referrals, morbidity in children and mothers.

3. Activation of Mata Samitis in each Anganwadi

4. To ensure group meetings with target group 0 to 2 years children’s mothers, ANC, PNC, SUW MUW, SAM/MAM, children’s mothers and other community people

5. To ensure monthly MAS Meeting take place in each Anganwadi

6. Weekly activities planning with CHWs and review reports and track completion weekly.

7. Ensure establishing linkages between Anganwadi Worker, volunteer and ASHA worker

8. To ensure innovations in quarterly Anganwadi base community events and Yearly Nutrition week, Breast Feeding week, Family Day in per Anganwadi

9. Work with volunteers to mobilise, enrol, facilitate training and assessment; plan periodic meetings and events

10. Record case stories and caregiver testimonials
