NalandaWay Foundation is a non-profit that works with children from disadvantaged communities in India, helping them raise their voices and raise their issues through art. Our endeavour is to improve learning abilities, reinforce positive behaviour and help children soar high by enabling them to be creative and express themselves through visual and performing Arts.
• Identify and nurture long-term relationships by leveraging personal, professional, and organisational contacts across the spectrum involving corporates, domestic and international foundations, and high-net-worth individuals for building a large pool of donors and prospects to support NalandaWay’s work
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop strong offerings/proposals for various donor segments
• Write proposals with the support of project team members and external consultants
• Assist with the identification of Grants and prepare relevant documentation for submission.
• Build partnerships with NGOs/Governments and strategise proposals with donors
• Adapt to situations quickly in the face of uncertainties and ambiguities and recalibrate plans to realise the outcomes.
• Develop analytical abilities, team building, and motivation skills to help organize resources.
• Work under tight deadlines, manage simultaneously occurring tasks, and generate maximum team performance.
• Be meticulous and highly detail-oriented.
• Develop an ability to analyse complex quantitative and qualitative data and turn around reports expeditiously.
• Develop a deep understanding of the domain and keep abreast of the developments and initiatives in the education and development sectors.
• Plan, organise, and lead the team's efforts to achieve the objectives of the partnerships team.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
• Highly motivated, dynamic, and self-driven Graduate with a Post-Graduate degree from a premier institute (India or abroad).
• 5 to 15 years of experience in business development, fundraising and partnerships
• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and passionate.
• The candidate should be a go-getter and a great team player who is very hands-on, can multi-task and can get the job done.
• The candidate should always be open to learning new things and have in-depth subject matter knowledge, expertise, and experience.
• Timely and high-quality goal delivery will be essential performance measurement criterion.
• Cultural fit is an important criterion, and the candidate is expected to be socially inclined and passionate about the cause that the organisation is working for.
