Position Summary
The Program Associate will provide support to meet the program’s objectives. The responsibilities include ensuring programmatic planning, monitoring, evaluation and administrative support for the overall program.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides support and coordination as well as independent work for ongoing and special assignments related to organization’s key program areas, which may include:
To look after the overall management of the project as per the designed Gantt Chart
To closely work with operation team and assist them in executing the program to achieve the desired goals as mentioned in the proposal and MoU
To overall monitor the project progress and achieve the set deadlines.
Maintain and prepare programmatic qualitative and quantitative Report, case studies, testimonials, important events and documentation of the project as per template designed.
Provide support in creating Logical Framework Approach, Key performance indicators and reporting framework on the assigned projects
Participate in strategy development of the project initiated
Maintain and support relationships and communications with donors and other key stakeholders important to the programmatic work
Coordinate high-level administrative support efforts such as donor’s site visit coordination, Impact Assessment by external auditors and Programmatic Audit
Co-ordinate for the Volunteer Engagement activities planned in the project
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and job requirements:
Ability to communicate internally within the team and externally to diverse Audiences, with knowledge, diplomacy, tact, patience, flexibility, and courtesy.
Demonstrated ability to be well-organized, a self-starter and work independently and within a team, with the proven ability to multi-task, set work priorities, track projects and meet deadlines.
Technologically savvy, with fluency in computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet searches, database and presentation software (such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer).
Highest level of interpersonal skills including excellent listening, public speaking, oral and written communications skills.
Uphold the highest ethical standards of integrity, fairness, and confidentiality in all relationships as a colleague.
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve using analytical and reasoning skills to maintain, Identify, and make recommendations to improve operational systems.
Strong desire to develop and test new systems, new ways of thinking, and innovative approaches to philanthropic grant making.
Proven capacity to work in a multicultural workforce, including sensitivity and competency in working with individuals and groups of diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and lifestyle backgrounds.
Ability and willingness to travel intra-state or project site states as needed.
Graduate or Post graduate in any field and relevant work experience.
Experience Required:
Prior work experience in a similar role in private sector firms, NGOs or foundations
Minimum 2 years of work experience, familiarity with field of philanthropy and nonprofit sector, preferred.
Location: Mumbai
Salary Range: As per industry standard.
