Terms of Reference (ToR): Gynaecologist for Breast Cancer Awareness Sessions
Project: HCL My Community and My Worth Initiative (Lucknow)
• Duration: Session dates to be coordinated as per project schedule.

2. Key Responsibilities:
• Session Facilitation:
Deliver interactive, community-focused sessions on breast cancer awareness, emphasizing early detection, prevention strategies, and self-examination techniques.
• Availability:
Be present for the scheduled awareness sessions in person, depending on project requirements.
• Breast Cancer Counselling:
Provide personalized health counselling to community members and adolescents, addressing breast cancer myths, risk factors, and lifestyle modifications.
• Support and Coordination:
Assist the project team in preparing educational materials such as brochures, posters, and audiovisual aids for the sessions.
• Ethical Practice:
Uphold medical ethics, ensuring participant confidentiality and respecting cultural sensitivities.
• Working Hours:
11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for each session (flexible by 30 minutes before or after as needed or could be adjusted According ).
3. Payment Details:
a) Compensation: Rs 3000/- per session. Note Selection will be based on a 20: 80 evaluation model, with 20% weightage for financial criteria and 80% for programmatic criteria.
b) Payment Conditions: Payment will be processed upon satisfactory completion of the session, as per the report submitted by the Reporting In charge and the invoice submission.
c) Tax Deduction: Applicable taxes will be deducted as per government norms.
d) Document Submission: A certified true copy of the PAN card must be provided.
Principles of medical ethics, including professional norms for protecting patient privacy and confidentiality as per IMC Act shall be binding and must be upheld and practiced. Registered Medical Practitioners will not be held responsible for breach of confidentiality if there is a reasonable evidence to believe that patient’s privacy and confidentiality has been compromised by a technology breach or by a person other than RMP.
Some examples of actions that are not permissible:
• RMPs insisting on Telemedicine, when the patient is willing to travel to a facility and/or requests an in-person consultation.
• RMPs misusing patient images and data, especially private and sensitive in nature (e.g. RMP uploads an explicit picture of patient on social media etc).
• RMPs who use telemedicine to prescribe medicines from the specific restricted list.
• RMPs are not permitted to solicit patients for telemedicine through any advertisements or inducements.
