Job Description: Admin cum Accounts Executive / Accountant
Position Summary:
The Admin cum Accounts Executive / Accountant will manage all accounting activities at the regional office, ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with donor and statutory requirements, and seamless coordination with the Finance Department at HQ. The role also involves supporting administrative and HR-related tasks, assisting with audits, and facilitating efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Management
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, reconciliations, and financial statements.
2. Prepare draft fund utilization reports and certificates for the regional office.
3. Ensure transparency and accuracy in all financial transactions.
Audit Support
1. Provide necessary documentation and support for internal, donor-specific, and statutory audits.
2. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as required.
Payments and Disbursements
1. Process payments for vendors, staff reimbursements, and other expenses promptly.
2. Verify payment requests for accuracy and compliance with organizational guidelines.
Coordination with Finance HQ
1. Liaise with the Finance and Accounts Department at HQ for alignment on policies, processes, and reporting requirements.
2. Address and resolve queries related to regional financial operations.
Administrative and HR Coordination
1. Collaborate with HQ teams on office maintenance, procurement, and inventory management.
2. Support HR-related activities such as employee attendance, payroll inputs, and onboarding.
Compliance and Reporting
1. Ensure all financial operations comply with organizational policies, donor guidelines, and statutory regulations.
2. Submit timely and accurate financial reports as required by HQ and donors.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Undertake any other duties assigned by the supervisor to support organizational goals and regional office operations.
Competencies and Skills Required:
1. Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practical skills.
2. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills. (Speaking Knowledge of Hindi is an advantage)
4. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow established procedures.
5. Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
6. Familiarity with NGO sector trends, donor compliance requirements, and regional variations.
7. Must be Willingness to travel.

• Accurate and timely completion of all accounting tasks at the regional office.
• Preparation of error-free fund utilization certificates and financial reports.
• Efficient processing of payments and resolution of financial queries.
• Effective coordination with Finance HQ, donors, and auditors.
• Support for administrative and HR functions to enhance office operations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

B. Com /M.com with computer proficiency & Experience of working on Tally ERP,
Experience:
2-3 years in accounting work
