CEE requires a qualified and competitive candidate to be posted as Project Officer for its project ROCHAK – Plastic waste Management at Mehsana (Gujarat)

Post : Project Officer (2 post)

Location : Mehsana (Gujarat)

Remuneration (CTC) : Rs.25,000/- monthly based on experience, skills, and qualifications

Essential Qualifications : Bachelor’s /Master degree in Social Work, Community Development, or related fields.

Experience : 2-3 years of experience working in community-based projects, preferably related to waste management or environmental awareness.

Job Description:

The Project Officer will be based at Mehsana District (Gujarat) and to ensure the smooth implementation of project activities;

• Actively engage with community members to promote awareness of plastic waste management practices.

• Conduct regular community meetings to encourage participation in waste segregation and recycling activities.

• Build relationships with local leaders, self-help groups (SHGs), schools, and other stakeholders to enhance community involvement.

• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate community members about the impact of plastic pollution and sustainable waste management practices.

• Collect data on waste collection, community participation, and recycling activities to evaluate project impact.

• Prepare and submit daily or weekly reports to the Project Coordinator, highlighting achievements, challenges, and feedback from the community.

Duration: Project appointment, initially for a period of one year, extendable based on performance.
