About the Project:

The Education Programmes at AROH Foundation focus on a multifaceted approach to education that integrates formal and remedial learning with essential infrastructural support. The foundation is committed to providing basic amenities, such as safe drinking water and sanitation facilities, and enhancing the educational environment through the construction of attractive school buildings and the introduction of modern teaching methodologies, including SMART classes and science laboratories.

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager for Education Programmes will lead the development, implementation, and management of educational initiatives aimed at improving access to quality education for underprivileged communities. This role involves strategic planning, program oversight, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring impactful outcomes in alignment with AROH Foundation’s mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development and Strategy:

• Design and implement innovative educational programs that cater to the needs of diverse communities.

• Assess the effectiveness of existing programs and develop strategies for improvement and expansion.

• Collaborate with educational experts to integrate modern teaching methodologies and resources.

Team Leadership and Management:

• Lead and manage a team of program coordinators and educators, ensuring effective program delivery and professional development.

• Organize training sessions and workshops for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in educational practices.

• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages creativity and innovation.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, educational institutions, and community organizations to enhance program outreach.

• Engage with local communities to promote educational initiatives and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

• Represent AROH Foundation at relevant forums, workshops, and conferences.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program impact and effectiveness.

• Collect and analyze data to inform program enhancements and ensure accountability to stakeholders.

• Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes for stakeholders and funders.

Financial Management:

• Manage the budget for education programs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and compliance with financial guidelines.

• Identify funding opportunities and assist in grant writing efforts to secure financial resources for educational initiatives.

Advocacy and Awareness:

• Advocate for the importance of quality education and the need for infrastructural support in underserved communities.

• Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and community events to promote educational initiatives and resources.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within the education sector.

• Proven track record of successful program implementation and stakeholder engagement.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

• Passion for social impact and community development.
