Job Description:
The Senior Programme Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management of the project in coordination with the programme management unit and programme implementation teams
Roles and responsibilities are as follows:
• Finalise the project implementation plans
• Development of technical materials including training tools (such as manuals and presentations and other resource materials on nutrition and health.
• Overall capacity building of the programme management and programme implementation teams
• Maintenance and oversight of nutrition-related requirements with respect to the current guidelines and protocols.
• Providing specific technical inputs on nutrition for training and capacity building of state, district, and block-level field teams
• Lead the initiation of Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) activities in the community from the National Office including development and collation of modules, devising strategy and planning rollout in conjunction with PMU members, conducting training for the same, and ensuring the quality of transactions.
• Coordinate with the MIS team for generating evidence and MIS reports
• Support in developing project proposals and concept note. This would also include drafting budget.
• Facilitate communication with partner organisations and government departments on technical issues
• Conduct relevant research studies
• Undertake field visits for monitoring and handholding support
• Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, desired skills and requirements
• PhD/ Master’s degree in Public Health and Nutrition and allied fields- Social Work/Social Studies from reputed institution.
• Minimum 10 years of experience of working in an NGO focusing on Nutrition/Health/Sanitation related programmes at block/district level.
• Should have managed projects independently in similar position.
• Must have good communication skill and language proficiency-English and Hindi.
• Willingness to undertake field visits.
Duration Till September 2027. The contract will be issued initially for one year which will be extended based on the performance and need of the project.
Remuneration The remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history
