Your Challenge:
At CRY - Child Rights and You, you'll be using your professional skills and experience to help restore to underprivileged Indian children their basic rights to - survival, development, protection and participation. CRY has a holistic approach to development based on the child rights framework with community empowerment as a key ingredient. CRY also places strong emphasis on networking with other NGOs and advocacy efforts to influence macro policies for children.
CRY's assistance to the child development initiatives isn't just financial. Our Development support team enables our partners work through capacity building, infrastructure support, sharing of ideas and information, networking and joint planning, monitoring and evaluation impact, research, documentation and government interface.
Your Role:
As a person in this position, you will be the link between CRY and CRY-supported projects in the project areas in east. You also support in the direct implementation of project. Your responsibilities will include partnership management, program management, grant making, MIS and Data Management, assessing and providing inputs for partner’s capacity building needs in thematic and systemic areas through quality monitoring and evaluation. You will also have role in environment scanning, identifying areas/projects for CRY's intervention and planning and supporting networking efforts.
You:
You must be a Post - Graduate in Social Work, Sociology or Rural Development from a reputed institute. You must have 6+ years’ experience in the field of urban or rural development, having experience in planning, monitoring and evaluating projects, interfacing specially include Theory of Change / Outcome and Impact Orientation / Project formulation and management skill here. It is non-negotiable. Add Facilitation and Training skills .with the government and other stakeholders. Initiative, ability to analyze and focus on outcome will be required to fulfill the role.
You should have experience and skills in grant making role, 1. Prior exposure to child rights programming is desirable. 2. Worked In planning monitoring 2. Please include Skill sets required for this position from the manager’s competency dictionary : 1. Team working, Articulating Information, Timeliness and Producing output, Pursuing Goals, Excellent documentation, Expertise In any of the thematic areas , Data analysis , Facilitation/ Training skills financial management aspects like financial statement analysis, knowledge & experience in financial system monitoring. Strong documentation & reporting skills are required. Strong written and oral communication skills in English & a working knowledge of the local language are essential. Experience of having worked with communities within the state of preference would be an added advantage. Position entails travelling across all the states in operation In eastern region
