A Communications Officer's role is critical in fostering collaboration, amplifying advocacy, and ensuring unified and effective communication that strengthens the NGO's impact on cancer prevention in India.
Responsibilities
Stakeholder engagement & Relationship building with community-level, state-level and national-level NGOs
Creative content creation for social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram etc.) and other digital platforms
Brand building through events (digital mainly) with visibility across digital platforms
Monitoring and Evaluation of activities, campaigns etc.
Documentation and report writing along with drafting blogs and presentations (ppt)
Qualifications
Postgraduate or graduate in Public Health/Social work/Communication or similar field with at least 3+ years work experience
Strong verbal communication and creative skills
Highly proficient in written and spoken English
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Zoom/Teams, Canva, Adobe Premier etc.
Willing to work long hours to accommodate working with global partners
Location: Kolkata, India
Duration: 3 months (performance-based renewal) + 12 months
Start date of job: December 15, 2024
Salary: Rs. 15,000-25,000 per month (as per experience)
