About the Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation (S-ILF)
Sasakawa India Leprosy Foundation (S-ILF), instituted in November 2006, works towards rehabilitation of leprosy-affected persons and their families residing in the self-settled leprosy colonies across India. It focuses on inclusiveness and integration of leprosy-affected people and their families with mainstream society through awareness of various myths of leprosy to bring about changes in social attitudes and behavior of the masses and the social and economic empowerment of the target communities. S-ILF has been striving to end stigma against leprosy by initiating several socio-economic programs for leprosy-affected persons and their families.
About the Job
Assistant Manager - Communication will support the development and management of communication programs through development of communication materials and other related activities with the communication team.

Key Responsibilities
Develop communication materials like newsletter, annual report etc. for different set of stakeholders
Build network and partnership with Govt. & other agencies for program support
Develop reports and presentations for external interactions (donors, government institutions etc.) with inputs from Program team
Support the communication team to develop communication strategy
Develop monthly case stories
Provide programmatic inputs to Communications for brochures, newsletter, and website
Preparation of thematic presentations and narrative reports for external stakeholders (Donors etc.)
Conduct and coordinate workshops, and outreach meetings with key stakeholders
Create IEC materials
Required qualification, experience, and competencies
Master’s degree or equivalent in Mass Communication/Journalism/English or any other related stream
At least 5-8 years of professional work experience in communication & networking in an NGO
Strong technical knowledge of social media
Ability to interact with a wide variety of external stakeholders including government officials, representatives from private sector, civil society organisations, and national and international institutions
Excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills
Team working and collaborating skills
Drive, Commitment and Ownership for the delegated responsibilities
Willingness to travel to remote areas
Fluency in spoken and written English and Hindi
Ability to produce documents and reports of professional quality and coordinate activities independently.
Salary and benefits
S-ILF offers unique opportunities for challenging, effective, and rewarding work. We have a 5-day working week and excellent work ambience. The salary for this position is Rs 50,000.00 per month (negotiable)
