Job Description

Sshrishti Trust is a 20 years old dedicated non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of children and youth in India through education and skill development.

Our mission is to create opportunities for underserved communities, empowering young minds to reach their full potential and contribute positively to society.

We seek a dynamic and experienced Sr. Manager of Operations to lead and oversee our operations across multiple programs focused on education and skill development.

The incumbent will report to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale projects, a passion for social impact, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and youth in India.

This role is crucial for ensuring our programs' efficient and effective delivery, maintaining high standards, and driving sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

Oversee day-to-day operations across all education and skill development programs.

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the organization's goals and mission.

Ensure that programs are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the smooth execution of projects.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of program managers and coordinators.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback.

Program Development and Evaluation:

Work closely with the program teams to design, plan, and execute new initiatives.

Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure they meet the desired impact.

Implement best practices and continuously improve operational processes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and community leaders.

Prepare and present reports on program progress to the executive team and board of directors.

Represent the organization at events, meetings, and conferences.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Monitor expenses and ensure financial accountability and transparency.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.

Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required by funding agencies and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Education:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Social Work, Education, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, within the non-profit sector.

Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in education, skill development, or a related field. Experience working with diverse teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.

Proficiency in using project management and data analysis tools.
