About the Organization

We are a grassroots-level NGO dedicated to empowering vulnerable communities through various initiatives, including women’s empowerment, education, health, and livelihood projects. Our income generation project focuses on enabling women to achieve financial independence and build sustainable livelihoods through skills development, entrepreneurship, and capacity building.

Role Summary

The Program Executive for the Women’s Income Generation Project will play a key role in implementing and managing initiatives that empower women through skill development, entrepreneurship, and income-generating activities. The role involves coordinating with community stakeholders, artisans, trainers, and other team members to ensure effective program delivery and impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Planning & Implementation

Assist in the design and planning of income generation programs for women, focusing on skills training, micro-enterprise development, and market linkages.

Coordinate the execution of project activities, ensuring alignment with program goals and timelines.

Conduct needs assessments and baseline surveys to understand the socio-economic status and skills gaps of the target communities.

2. Beneficiary Engagement & Support

Identify and mobilize women from target communities to participate in the program.

Conduct regular field visits to support and monitor the progress of women beneficiaries.

Provide one-on-one mentorship, guidance, and support to women participants in developing their income-generating activities.

Assist in the formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) or cooperatives, if applicable.

3. Capacity Building & Training

Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, digital marketing, and business management.

Collaborate with external trainers, experts, and partner organizations to enhance the quality of training provided.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions, collecting feedback for continuous improvement.

4. Market Linkages & Networking

Develop strategies for establishing market linkages for the products and services offered by the women entrepreneurs.

Assist women in participating in local fairs, exhibitions, and online platforms to promote their products.

Build partnerships with local businesses, NGOs, and government agencies to support women’s income-generating activities.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

Track program outcomes and document success stories, challenges, and lessons learned.

Maintain accurate records of project activities, including beneficiary details, training attendance, and income growth.

Prepare periodic progress reports, presentations, and case studies for internal and external stakeholders.

Assist in data collection for impact assessment and donor reporting.

6. Community Engagement & Awareness

Conduct community awareness campaigns on the importance of women’s economic empowerment.

Build strong relationships with community leaders, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure community support and participation.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Community Development, or related fields. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• 2-3 years of experience in program management, particularly in women’s empowerment, income generation, or livelihood projects.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.

• Experience in capacity building, training, and mentoring of women in rural or semi-urban settings.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic digital marketing tools.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

• Fluency in [local language] and English, both written and spoken.

• Willingness to travel extensively to project sites as required.
