Background: The Timbaktu Collective (Collective) is a grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainable development of marginalized communities across 347 villages in 14 mandals of the drought-prone Ananthapuramu and Sri Sathya Sai districts of Andhra Pradesh.
The Collective has been implementing various projects aligned with its vision. One such initiative is the Revitalization of Sustainable Rural Livelihoods Project (Phase 5), which is scheduled to conclude in September 2025. To evaluate this project, the Collective is seeking experienced consultants.
Objectives of the Assignment: The primary objective of this evaluation is to measure the effectiveness of project implementation and suggest any course correction that is required in the current phase as well as in the next phase.
Following are the specific objectives of the evaluation:
• Assess the process of implementation against the plan, focusing on participation of the community and the promoted Cooperatives;
• Analyse the impact or changes that have occurred within beneficiary households and the community, focusing on the project indicators;
• Identify problems and constraints that have been encountered; and
• Identify important lessons to be learnt and make recommendations for the implementation of current and future phases of the project.
Duration of the Assignment :
The duration of consultancy would be for ten days in the month of January 2025.
