- Living Farms is a non-governmental Trust with a vision to “envisage a value system of responsible living /or living with ecological consciousness, considering oneself as part of the web of nature, harmony with all others, actively promoting respect and tolerance, building strong resistance to lust for wealth and power, active non-violent opposition to all kinds of inequity and injustice producing systems and processes, and local socialisms”.
- The organization is a grassroots development organization on nurturing a common space involving Adivasi and dalitwomen farmers, youth and small and marginal farmers from other communities along with co- strugglers/co-creators to build and strengthen solidarity with one another for a common vision of foodsovereignty.
- Living Farms seeks to engage following personnel for a Adolscent Health & Nutrition project in Rayagada and Gajapati District. All the positions are field based positions and staff members will be required to be placed in the assigned field location
- Candidates with experience in community processes, Climate Change issues, Establishing Nutrition Gardens, and Participatory Learning & Action (PLA) in the agriculture and nutrition sector, especially in predominantly Adivasi regions, will be given preference.

1. Project Coordinator(One)
- Preferred Qualification: MSW or Postgraduate in Rural Management / Sociology and alliedsubjects
Experience:
- Minimum of five to seven years of experience in managing and coordinating rural development projects
- Prior experience working with NGOs and expertise in Climate Change issues, Establishing Nutrition gardens, Participatory Learning & Action, Adolescent health & nutrition
Responsibility: Overall management and implementation of the project in eight blocks of Rayagada and Gajapati districts. Guiding and supervision of team members with proper coordination with different stakeholders and teammembers.
Location: Gajapati & Rayagada districts
- Manage and implement the project in eight blocks of Rayagada and Gajapati districts
- Supervise team members and coordinate with stakeholders
- Facilitate a team of 2 block coordinators to achieve project milestones
- Build relationships with government, local agencies, and media at block and district levels
- Ensure quality and timely implementation of activities
- Monitor program progress and report monthly
- Participate in planning and review meetings
- Collect and share data/information weekly
- Conduct capacity building of block coordinators and GP facilitators on MIS and PLA modules
- Provide support to block coordinators and GP facilitators
- Document case studies and best practices
- Analyze community changes after interventions
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the organization for program and organizational development

2. Block Coordinator(two)

Location: Bisamkatak, R.Udayagiri, & Nuagada
Responsibility: Planning and implementation of the project in the intervention areas
- The block coordinator will be responsible for planning using the data available and overall program implementation at the block level.
- Facilitating a team of 3-6 community mobilizers & 15-20 volunteers to collectively achieve project milestones
- Maintaining regular liaison and coordination with government departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions, and other development agencies at the block level
- Ensuring quality and timely implementation of activities in the block as per the project plan
- Monitoring program progress to meet performance indicators
- Compiling and sharing monthly reports
- Participating in monthly planning and review meetings
- Collecting data/information weekly and sharing reports with the project team
- Traveling extensively within the block as required by the program
- Building the capacity of GP facilitators
- Providing support to GP facilitators
- Analyzing community changes post-PLA meetings and intervention
- Undertaking any other responsibilities assigned by the organization for program and organizational development
Remuneration: Negotiable
