*Project Manager (Jal Jeevan Mission GS-2)*
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission GS-2, a flagship program of the Government of India aimed at providing safe and adequate drinking water to all rural households.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Project Planning:* Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. *Team Management:* Lead and manage a team of professionals, including engineers, technicians, and community mobilizers.
3. *Stakeholder Engagement:* Collaborate with government officials, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
4. *Technical Oversight:* Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure that project activities are implemented according to technical specifications and standards.
5. *Monitoring and Evaluation:* Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track project progress and impact.
6. *Budgeting and Financial Management:* Manage project budgets and ensure that financial transactions are transparent and accountable.
7. *Reporting:* Prepare and submit regular project reports to government officials and other stakeholders.
*Rules and Regulations:*
1. *Government Guidelines:* Ensure that project activities are implemented in accordance with government guidelines and regulations.
2. *Environmental and Social Safeguards:* Ensure that project activities are implemented in accordance with environmental and social safeguards.
3. *Transparency and Accountability:* Ensure that project activities are transparent and accountable to government officials and other stakeholders.
4. *Community Participation:* Ensure that community participation is encouraged and facilitated throughout the project implementation.
*Desired Qualifications and Experience:*
1. *Degree in Engineering or Management:* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or Management.
2. *Experience in Project Management:* At least 5 years of experience in managing projects related to water supply, sanitation, or infrastructure development.
3. *Knowledge of Government Guidelines:* Familiarity with government guidelines and regulations related to water supply and sanitation.
4. *Leadership and Communication Skills:* Strong leadership and communication skills to manage teams and engage with stakeholders.
