Also encourages farmers to adopt innovative, scientific, and organic farming practices, significantly enhancing agricultural output.
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager for Livelihood will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing initiatives aimed at creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for marginalized communities. This role involves strategic planning, program oversight, stakeholder engagement, and ensuring impactful outcomes that promote social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Strategy:
• Design and implement comprehensive livelihood programs that cater to the specific needs of underprivileged women and youth.
• Conduct assessments to identify barriers to livelihood access and develop targeted interventions.
• Create and maintain strategic plans that align with the foundation’s goals and enhance community empowerment.
Team Leadership and Management:
• Lead and supervise a diverse team of project coordinators and field staff, ensuring effective program delivery and staff development.
• Organize regular training sessions to enhance staff capabilities in livelihood initiatives and community engagement.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with government agencies, financial institutions, NGOs, and community organizations.
• Engage with local leaders and community members to promote livelihood initiatives and gather valuable feedback.
• Represent AROH Foundation at relevant forums, workshops, and conferences to advocate for livelihood development.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess program effectiveness and impact.
• Collect and analyze data to inform program improvements and ensure accountability to stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes and present findings to funders and partners.
Financial Management:
• Manage the livelihood program budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and compliance with financial guidelines.
• Identify funding opportunities and support grant writing efforts to secure financial resources for programs.
Advocacy and Awareness:
• Advocate for policies that support sustainable livelihood development and social inclusion.
• Organize awareness campaigns, workshops, and community events to promote the importance of livelihood initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within the livelihood or development sector.
• Proven track record of successful program implementation and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
