About Organisation:

YCDA is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 1993 and registered under Societies Registration Act and Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) in 1993 and 1997 respectively with an objective to bring some sustainable improvement in the socio-economic status of disadvantaged communities.

The organization devotes its time, skill, knowledge, and commitment towards the development of oppressed masses in society with a group of experienced and trained social workers. The main thrust of the organization is to implement various community development programs focusing on Livelihood promotion, Skill & Entrepreneurship Development, and Child protection.

Programme Overview:

Odisha is an agrarian state with 70 per cent of the state’s population depending on agriculture and allied sectors .The project facilitates the promotion of producer groups and producer companies for sustainability by ensuring synchronized production,

linkages with stakeholder to optimise production and access different livelihood support infrastructure and increasing market linkages.

Location of project

The project will be implemented in Chhendipada block of Angul district in Odisha

Projects Objectives are:

1. Mobilizing farmers in groups at the village level and build their associations (FPOs) at an

Appropriate federating point to plan and implement product specific cluster/ commercial

Crop cycles

2. Strengthen farmer capacity through agricultural best practices for enhanced productivity

by working with farmers on land water managements and energy integration.

Key Job Responsibilities:

1. Applying subject expertise in evaluating organisation operations and processes.

2. Identifying areas where technical solutions would improve organisation performance.

3. Consulting across organisation operations, providing mentorship, and contributing specialized knowledge.

4. Responsible for providing hand holding and technical support to the farmers and project staff in planning and programme implementation

5. Carry out relevant capacity building sessions for the farmers of the project on synchronise production and facilitate for marketing promotions.

6. Regularly monitoring the project progress by collecting and analysing data from various sources.

7. Report as per the project requirement and document lesions learnt for sharing and disseminator at various levels

8. Coordination with producer group members and federate them at apex level to form a farmer producers organisation

9. Overseeing the development, testing, and implementation of technical solutions.

10. Determining whether technical solutions meet defined requirements or not and if not taking corrective action.

Qualification:

YCDA is looking for a highly motivated, strategic, go-getter, and quality-conscious professional who have a Post Graduate (M.sc,B.sc, Agri-MBA other relevant stream) with 3 to 4 years proven experience of social work. Should have excellent understanding and knowledge of MS office as well as excellent communication skills.

Languages known:-The candidates should be fluent in Writing, Reading and speaking of Odia language and English language.

Remuneration: 27,000/-
