Location: Bahraich & Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh
Employment Type: Full-Time
Experience: Minimum 1-3 years (Preferred in Diagnostic Services or Primary Healthcare)
Qualification: Diploma/Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/BMLT) (Recognized by State Medical Council/Relevant Authority)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lab Technician for our Clinic on Wheels Project, responsible for conducting basic diagnostic tests, sample collection, and maintaining laboratory reports. The role involves working closely with doctors and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment in underserved areas.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect and process blood, urine, and other biological samples for testing.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests (e.g., blood sugar, hemoglobin, malaria, TB, etc.).
• Maintain proper labeling, documentation, and storage of samples.
• Ensure quality control and accuracy in test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper sterilization.
• Coordinate with doctors and pharmacists for timely reporting of test results.
• Record and manage patient test reports and lab data.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols while handling samples and equipment.
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic procedures and laboratory techniques.
• Proficiency in handling lab equipment and sample processing.
• Basic understanding of infection control and sterilization methods.
• Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in field/rural settings and travel as per project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience in primary healthcare, community health, or government health programs is preferred.
• Certification in public health, pathology, or microbiology is an advantage.
