Organization Profile:

Gramshree Foundation Trust is registered under Trust act in 2018 and has been working in the Tribal belt of Rajasthan & Chhattisgarh with a vision of impacting the lives of Tribal Families through women, so that they can take control of their own lives. Currently Gramshree is working through formation of Farmer Producer Groups and Producer Organization and livelihood intervention on vegetable cultivation, natural farming and value chain intervention which involve processing and marketing of produce.

Gramshree Foundation Trust is looking for young and dynamic individual who has completed BSC Ag and have minimum of 2 years of field experience or have done MSC in Agriculture to work under project in Kumbalgarh Block of Rajasamand district of Rajasthan with focus of ensuring the availability of vegetable for the tribal families throughout the year leading to tackle the challenge of malnutrition in tribal.

Designation: Agriculture Expert

Location: Kumbhalgarh, Barwada , Rajsamand Rajasthan

Period: Appointment will be provided for 1-year period with Annual Assessment and Renewal on mutual agreement.

Role Expected:

Managing the program on promotion of Vegetable cultivation among tribal to manage the challenge of nutritional deficiencies and enhancing the income of the tribal families

Responsible for prompting vegetable cultivation among 125 tribal families in villages of Kumbhalgarh and Gogunda Block of Udaipur Rajasthan.

Responsible for building the capacity of the field team and ensuring the proper monitoring system. Develop the system for monitoring the intervention at farmer’s level.

Responsible for ensuring the deliverable mentioned in programs like timely training and exposure visits of farmers.

Responsible for drafting the reports ( monthly, quarterly and annually), and managing effective data collection with the community resource persons.

Qualification and Essential Terms:

Post Graduate in Any Discipline preferably in Agriculture or BSC in Agriculture with 2 years of field experience working with farmers directly.

Individuals should be adoptive to work with Rural Families and stay in villages and block.

Need to adapt to work in a small team, work more as an entrepreneur. Must be an expert in multi-tasking.

Individuals should have their own two wheelers for movement in the field (Mandatory).

Gramshree work with women Farmers, hence women candidates will be given preference.

One-year appointment has a clause that one-month salary is deducted in 5 equal monthly installments and kept as security. This amount is paid back after completion of a one-year period in the organization. If the candidates leave before one year, the security amount deducted is forfeited.

Offer Remuneration: Rs 30,000/-

Other support:

Petrol Cost for two wheelers as per organization norms.

Travel for company work will be covered by Trust as per organization norms.
