Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

Mukti is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a B.Com degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or be an M.Com fresher with strong accounting knowledge. This role involves maintaining financial records, handling transactions, and assisting in financial reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Support in tax calculations, TDS filings, and statutory compliance.

• Assist in budget preparation and expense tracking.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors/Vendors as required.

• Ensure adherence to financial policies and accounting standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: B.Com with minimum 2 years of experience or M.Com fresher.

• Technical Skills: Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems).

• Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial reporting, GST, and taxation.

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.

• Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in NGOs or social organizations is a plus.

• Knowledge of financial regulations related to NGOs will be an advantage.
