About Azad Foundation
Azad is a professional feminist organization working across social and religious divides to enable resource poor women to empower themselves by engaging them in viable non- traditional livelihood options. This is done through transformative capacity building programs around the self and the skills needed for non-traditional livelihood, based on adult learning principles. Role Description – Key Responsibilities
Manage all accounting transactions, and substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
Prepare TDS details and send it to the Head Office on time
Supporting field teams in programme implementation by providing them budget framework and utilization framework and analysis
Helping programmes in financial management of the programme.
Supporting programmes in community campaigns, and events in Kolkata
Prepare budget forecasts for better management of programmes.
Regular interaction with the programme teams to support them in implementation of the field programmes
Support field programme team in maintaining accounts
Publish financial statements in time, recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Prepare Bank Reconciliation statement on monthly basis
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Ensure timely bank payments
Prepare the monthly and quarterly utilization of budget and its analysis with programme team.
Ensure financial security by following internal controls.
Ensure staff salary in confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Upkeep of building maintenance
Facilitate external and internal audits
Facilitate monthly meetings, quarterly, half yearly and annual review
Professional & Educational Qualifications
Educational Qualifications – B.com/M.com from any reputed institution
Skills – Good Knowledge of English, Bangla & Hindi, Excellent communication, presentation skills and Writing/documentation skills, Tally ERP
CTC – 35-40K/M
