Position : Project Coordinator

Job Summary
TIDE seeks a results-driven and experienced Project Coordinator to oversee the on-ground implementation of an innovative, multi-pronged intervention to enhance rural healthcare infrastructure through solar energy systems, energy efficiency upgrades, and healing gardens in Primary Health Centers (PHCs). This role demands excellence in planning, government liaisoning, vendor management, and implementation tracking — with a deep commitment to sustainability and public health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the coordination and execution of solar system installations, energy-efficient retrofits, and healing garden development across 20 PHCs.
• Manage all implementation logistics including procurement, vendor supervision, timelines, and reporting.
• Serve as the primary liaison with district health departments, PHC officials, panchayat representatives, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical experts to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency of solar and EE installations.
• Ensure seamless integration of healing garden components by coordinating with horticulturists and community stakeholders.
• Maintain oversight of budgets, documentation, project tools, and compliance requirements.
• Support capacity-building sessions and ensure ongoing monitoring and evaluation are smoothly conducted.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or related technical discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in implementing infrastructure or clean energy projects in rural or development sector settings.
• Familiarity with solar systems, energy-efficient technologies, and horticulture or landscaping.
• Prior experience in engaging with local government departments and navigating regulatory approvals.
• Strong documentation and project management capabilities; proficiency with tools like MS Project.

Compensation
Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and will be in line with the norms of the development sector. For exceptional candidates, compensation may be negotiated based on relevant expertise, leadership capacity, and demonstrated impact in similar roles.
In addition to the consolidated monthly salary, travel expenses incurred for project-related field visits will be reimbursed as per TIDE’s travel and per diem policy.
