About Kriti:

Kriti Social Initiatives is a not for profit organization working in the slums in Hyderabad on the twin issues of promoting education for children and empowerment of women through training and livelihoods since 2009. By working in the areas of economic empowerment of women and education of children, Kriti works towards the larger vision of eliminating urban poverty.

About the Project: Kriti is launching a mobile repair training course that will enroll only women from underprivileged backgrounds for the training. At the end of the course, we will need to ensure that the participants have enough skills to get a job as a mobile repair technician in a shop or start their own mobile repair business. We are looking for a coordinator / team lead who can ensure enrollment, help with advertising the center, counselling the students and overall managing the training center.

Location of center will be in Borabanda. The center manager will have following responsibilities:

• Working in Kriti training center within Hyderabad

• Tentative working timings 09:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. six days a week.

• Initially help in center establishment- finding a place, rent agreement

• Setting up the center- Procurement of tools and equipments

• Manage record of trainees-attendance, performance assessment records

• Conduct assessment of trainees regularly

• Conduct soft skills training classes for the students based on training and content provided by Kriti management

• Engage the students in absence of trainer

• Mobilization of trainees for new batches

• Visit shops and service centers for placements

• Facilitate interviews of trainees

• Regular feedback and review of trainees

Our Requirements:

• A graduate degree in social work/diploma in hardware networking, mobile repair

• Min 1-2 years experience in the mobile repair sector or development sector

• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi and Telugu

• Written and administrative skills.

• Passionate about empowering women.

Salary offered: From 2.5L pa to 3L pa depending on experience
