Job Description

Location: Malsisar (only for local female candidates)

Job Type: Full-time, Entry Level, requires field travel, residential, only women

Compensation: 12 - 15,000 rupees per month, as per experience

Preferred Experience- 1-2 years

Languages required: English & Hindi

Calcutta Foundation, an organization with a 30-year legacy, is devoted to working closely with rural women, forming a united family across Bengal. Since 2021, we have launched our flagship program, Apni Kutir, which creates centers for financial and all-around progress, mainly designed for women. We offer training courses like General Duty Assistance and Nursing, Beautician Training, Basic Computer, Spoken English, Food and Beverages Services, Tailoring and sewing Courses, and EmpowerHer- a financial literacy course for women. Along with this, we bring experiences and workshops for the women, where they participate in dance, meditation and mindfulness, menstrual health awareness, arts and crafts, etc. We are now trying to make a mark in Rajasthan and help the women in need to be self-sufficient and empower them.

Eligibility Criteria:

- Educational Qualification: Must be a graduate in any discipline. Candidates with backgrounds in education, social work, and computer science, will be given preference.

Technical Skills:

- Must have proficiency in computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet-based tools.

Language Proficiency:

- Must have workable English writing skills (ability to draft reports and emails).

- Should have basic to moderate spoken English skills to communicate effectively.

- Fluency in Hindi is essential for interacting with students and community members.

Interpersonal & Organizational Skills:

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to assist the coordinator in communicating with students, trainers, and staff.

- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

- Passion for training women, creating a safe and motivating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Center Coordination & Management

- As this is a residential role, the candidate will live at the training center and ensure its smooth operation.

- Responsible for the safety, cleanliness, and maintenance of the center.

- Assist the Coordinator in coordinating with other team members, trainers, and administrative staff for daily operations.

Training & Curriculum Development

- Impart vocational training programs to enhance women's skills.

- Serve as a trainer for Computer courses, guiding students with practical and theoretical lessons.

- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide necessary support.

Student Support & Guidance

- Oversee student recruitment, enrollment, and orientation to ensure smooth onboarding.

- Assist the Coordinator in mentoring the students by providing guidance, motivation, and emotional support.

- Address any concerns related to student learning difficulties, attendance, or well-being and implement solutions.

Community Engagement & Outreach

- Organize and conduct mobilization drives in the local community to spread awareness about educational and vocational training opportunities.

- Plan awareness campaigns, workshops, and events to promote women’s empowerment, career development, and skill-building.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of student enrollment, attendance, academic progress, and assessments.

- Prepare monthly reports, case studies, and success stories to showcase the impact of the program.

- Maintaining proper photographs of the events, classes and successful students.

- Ensure that all training materials, lesson plans, and student data are properly documented and updated.
