Job Description

Position Overview:

The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to increase program visibility, foster community engagement, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across various sectors. This role requires excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills to coordinate efforts with educational institutions, government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), corporate partners, and local leaders.

Note: The role will involve a significant focus on field involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Outreach and Partnerships:

-Develop and implement targeted outreach strategies to enhance program visibility and participation.

-Identify, establish, and nurture partnerships with educational, government, nongovernmental, and corporate institutions.

-Build strong relationships with local leaders, community organizations, and other

stakeholders to foster collaboration.

2. Community Engagement:

-Facilitating workshops, events, and campaigns to engage communities effectively.

-Act as a liaison between the organization and the community, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for impact.

-Mobilize resources and community participation to support organizational programs.

3. Program Development and Implementation:

-Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outreach strategies align with organizational goals.

-Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach programs, using data to improve engagement tactics.

-Develop innovative approaches to expand the impact of the organization’s initiatives.

4. Coordination and Communication:

-Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of outreach activities.

-Represent the organization at public forums, meetings, and conferences to promote initiatives.

-Prepare and deliver reports on outreach activities and their impact.

Qualifications and Skills:

· M.SW., B.S.W, Bachelors in Sociology , Bachelors in Humanities ,Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.

· Proven experience in outreach, community engagement, or partnership development, preferably in a leadership role.

· Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a diverse range of stakeholders.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Passion for social impact and community development. Preferred
